Sartoro custom garments are based on your Fit Profile, which you can learn more about by visiting the Get Measured page. Our multi-faceted process includes analyzing your Fit Profile against over 4000 previous orders and millions of data points contained within our Digital Tailor's proprietary algorithm.

What if it doesn't fit?The vast majority of first orders fit exceptionally well right out of the box. A small percentage require minor alterations that can be done at any dry cleaner or local tailor in your area. 3-5% of orders have issues that require a (free) remake - most often due to inaccurate measurement info or unique fit preferences. 

Can you make standard sizes? While we believe a custom fit is always better, we can lean on standard sizes if preferred. When you complete the Digital Tailor, you'll have the opportunity to enter your off-the-rack jacket, pants and shirt sizes. We will leverage that information and anything else provided to craft your custom fit.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and do not wish to proceed with alterations or a remake, your first order may be returned for a refund. You will be refunded for all costs exclusive of any initial shipping fees.

Special orders (group orders, custom fabric sourcing, custom printed lining, women's clothing or garments made for female body types) are not eligible for returns, but are covered by the rest of our Fit Promise. 

Absolutely. Through our Sartoro Select program we can handle pretty much any request you want to throw at us, including sourcing other fabrics outside of our collection for unique needs. 

For fit preference requests, just add details in your Fit Profile or order notes. If you'd like to explore more complex customizations, please schedule a virtual consultation.

Absolutely - custom made clothing is an exception in an otherwise wasteful industry. We don't mass produce garments - every piece is made to order as the order is placed.

We try our best to minimize our carbon footprint every step of the way, from eliminating as much single-use plastic as possible, reducing the size of our shipping boxes and working with local partners to limit fabric stock on hand.

No! We may look big on the outside but we're not one of these mega brands who only care about quantity.

Sartoro is a US startup brand founded in NYC in 2020. We're a small team of dedicated experts on a mission to help people of all shapes and sizes look and feel their best in high quality, reasonable priced custom made clothing.

Our garments are made at Sartoro owned facilities in southeast Asia - we're proud to not outsource our work to mega factories like the big brands do.

Our specialty at this time is in menswear and our sizing and fit technology is optimized for men. We do accept orders for women and female body types, however due to the additional complexity and process involved in crafting garments for female body types that we have not built into our systems yet, our returns policy is limited to garments made for men and male body types. 

For female and female body type orders, you should still complete the Digital Tailor but we will also reach out after the order is placed to collect additional measurement information. You are still covered by our Fit Promise and we will work with you to resolve any issues should they occur, but there are no returns on orders for female body types or where the garments are being cut for a women / female body type.

From desktop monitors to mobile displays, color is influenced by both the device and screen settings. While we've gone the extra mile to provide the most authentic representation, the color you see on your screen may vary slightly from the appearance in person do to your screen's unique settings and capabilities.

While any differences are generally nominal, if an exact color is critical, we recommend ordering fabric samples first. We reimburse for the cost of one sample book if you go on to make a purchase.
