How To Get Reimbursed

Step 1: Visit Your Local Dry Cleaner

You can bring the garments wherever you'd like, but dry cleaners typically offer the same quality alterations as a dedicated tailor for a fraction of the price - helping you to stay within the covered limits (listed below).

Step 2: Get An Estimate & Guarantee

**IMPORTANT** -- Before proceeding with alterations, get a firm price on the adjustments. We've seen a few customers get fleeced by tailor shops when they did not ask for a price beforehand. Typical alterations should not exceed $100, with the average cost we see being less than $60.

Also be sure to confirm that the tailor is able to adjust the garments to your liking. Sartoro is able to reimburse for alterations OR provide a remake, not both. Ask the tailor to take note of all the changes made and how much the garments were altered - you'll need that next.

Request an itemized receipt.

Step 3: Submit The Alterations Form Below

Complete the Alterations Reimbursement Request form within 30 days of order receipt to be eligible for reimbursement. You'll have the option to choose cash back or double the cash back amount as store credit. For example, if your alterations cost $50, you can choose $50 cash back or $100 in store credit. You must submit an itemized receipt and include details on how much the garments were adjusted so we can update your Fit Profile.

Covered Alterations Limits

Any alterations directly related to fit are covered. If you are quoted more than these limits, please contact our customer support team before proceeding. Hemming pants left unfinished by choice is not covered.

If approved, you may choose cash back or double the approved amount in store credit.
