Alterations & Returns

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SARTORO website and purchases made through it. Please read them carefully before using our site or placing an order.

• Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund. After that, cancellation is not guaranteed once production begins.
• Delivery: Typically around 3 weeks after SARTORO receives all required measurement information and confirms it. You may cancel for a full refund if not delivered within 30 days of SARTORO’s receipt of all required info (unless otherwise agreed).
• Alterations & Returns: Governed exclusively by our Alterations & Returns Policy (incorporated by reference).
• Liability: Limited to the greater of the purchase price or $500 USD, with carve-outs for personal injury, fraud, willful misconduct, or non-waivable statutory rights.
• Disputes (U.S.): Resolved by binding AAA arbitration, with small-claims carve-out, 30-day opt-out, remote hearings allowed, and consumer fee protections.
• Governing Law: Florida, USA, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
• EU/UK Customers: Statutory rights remain unaffected; ADR and ODR options available.

 

1. OVERVIEW
Welcome to SARTORO! The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to SARTORO LLC (“SARTORO”). We operate the sartoro.co website and related digital services (the “Services”) to provide made-to-measure garments and related offerings. By visiting our website, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. SARTORO’s online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the ecommerce platform enabling transactions and related functionality.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT ACCESS
You must be at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and have capacity to enter into binding contracts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information and promptly update it as needed. You may not sell, transfer, or assign your account without SARTORO’s written consent.

 

3. SCOPE AND INCORPORATION OF OTHER POLICIES
These Terms govern your use of the website and all orders placed with SARTORO. Our Privacy Policy and Alterations & Returns Policy are incorporated by reference and form part of these Terms.

 

4. PRE-CONTRACT DISCLOSURES (EU/UK CUSTOMERS)

Prices: Displayed at checkout and include applicable taxes. Additional import duties or fees may apply.

Delivery Time: Typically around 3 weeks after both the order and any requested measurement information are received and confirmed; maximum 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

Right of Withdrawal: Custom garments are exempt from the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off right. This does not affect statutory remedies for defective or non-conforming goods.

 

5. WEBSITE USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the SARTORO website — including text, designs, images, videos, graphics, logos, and code — is owned or licensed by SARTORO and protected by law. Use of the Services is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit materials without SARTORO’s prior written consent.

 

6. PROHIBITED USES
Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access the site. Do not interfere with our systems, misrepresent your identity, upload malicious code, or use the Services for unlawful purposes. SARTORO may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

 

7. ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase. SARTORO may accept, reject, or cancel any order for reasons including measurement limits, fabric unavailability, or suspected fraud. Acknowledgment emails confirm receipt, not acceptance. Acceptance occurs when production begins. Orders may be modified or cancelled within 24 hours by contacting support@sartoro.co. After that period, cancellation or modification is not guaranteed. If SARTORO requests clarifications and you do not respond within 30 days, your order may be cancelled or placed on indefinite hold.

 

8. PRICING AND PROMOTIONS
Prices and promotions may change at any time. SARTORO may correct errors or revoke promotional discounts. Price adjustments are considered only if the price changed within 48 hours of your order and you contact us within that period. Promotional codes cannot be combined or used to purchase gift cards unless expressly stated.

 

9. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY
We strive for accurate product descriptions and imagery; variations in fabric, color, or texture may occur. Minor dye-lot or color differences are not defects. If a fabric becomes unavailable, SARTORO may offer an alternative or cancel and refund the order if no response is received within 7 days.

 

10. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Standard delivery takes about 3 weeks after measurement confirmation. Priority orders take about 2 weeks after measurement confirmation, and rush orders about 7-8 days after measurement confirmation. Timelines begin only after all requested measurements or approvals are received. Risk and title transfer upon successful carrier delivery scan or recipient signature. SARTORO is not liable for carrier delays, customs, or external events. Lost or damaged packages must be reported within 14 days (damage) or after 10 business days (lost) with photos and details. For U.S. and Canada, duties/customs are generally included unless stated otherwise. For other countries, the customer is responsible unless Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) is shown at checkout.

 

11. WEDDING PARTIES AND GROUP ORDERS
Group discounts may apply. Fabrics for group orders are reserved but not guaranteed indefinitely. SARTORO is not responsible for cancelled events or preference changes after ordering.

 

12. GIFT CARDS AND CREDITS
Gift cards and credits are non-refundable except as required by law. They cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or combined with promotions. Lost or stolen cards are not replaced. Credits may be issued as gift cards and follow these same terms.

 

13. ALTERATIONS AND RETURNS
Alterations, remake eligibility, and returns are governed by SARTORO’s Alterations & Returns Policy (incorporated by reference).

 

14. SMS MARKETING
By subscribing to SARTORO text notifications, you consent to receive recurring marketing messages. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for support. Standard carrier rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy and Attentive’s messaging terms for details.

 

15. FORCE MAJEURE
SARTORO is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond its control. If performance is delayed for more than 60 days, you may cancel and receive a refund.

 

16. WARRANTIES AND CONFORMITY
Garments are warranted to conform to confirmed specifications. Report production defects within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order number. SARTORO will respond within 3 business days with a plan for repair, remake, or refund. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

 

17. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Except as expressly stated, Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” SARTORO makes no warranties beyond those required by law. Some jurisdictions limit such disclaimers, so they apply only as permitted.

 

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
SARTORO’s total liability shall not exceed the greater of the purchase price or $500 USD. This limit does not apply to personal injury, fraud, willful misconduct, or statutory protections. SARTORO is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

 

19. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SARTORO and its affiliates from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

 

20. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
SARTORO’s online store is powered by Shopify Inc., which provides the ecommerce platform. All sales are solely between you and SARTORO. Shopify is not a party to any sale or dispute. By using our Services, you release Shopify from claims or liabilities arising from your transactions with SARTORO.

 

21. DISPUTE RESOLUTION (U.S. CUSTOMERS)
Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association’s Consumer Arbitration Rules. Hearings may occur remotely. Either party may bring a small-claims case. Class or representative actions are waived, except where prohibited by law. You may opt out within 30 days of agreeing by emailing support@sartoro.co. You pay only the capped consumer filing fee; SARTORO pays the remainder of AAA fees as required. EU/UK customers may pursue disputes in local courts or through the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

 

22. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by Florida law, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your local jurisdiction.

 

23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
SARTORO may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted with 14 days’ notice to active customers. The Terms effective at the time of your purchase govern that transaction.

 

24. MISCELLANEOUS
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains in force. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. Sections on payments, IP, liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and governing law survive termination.
