Suspenders

Pull your pants up to where you want them, then clip the two front straps evenly across the front of the waistband. Clip the back strap at the center back, just beside the belt loop rather than onto it. Each strap end has two clips, so six clips share the load.

Button suspenders fasten to buttons sewn inside the waistband. Ours are clip-on: they grip the waistband itself, so you can wear them with pants that have no suspender buttons.

On a Y-back, the two front straps come over your shoulders and join into one strap down the center of your back. On ours, a brown faux leather patch sits where they join.

Move the silver-tone sliders up or down each strap. Set them so the straps lie flat on your shoulders and hold your pants up without pulling. The straps are 44 inches long and stretch.

No. Suspenders hold your pants from the shoulders, so you can leave the belt off.

Yes. A jacket or vest covers most of the straps.

The straps are a stretch synthetic fabric. The back patch and the clip tabs are faux leather, and the sliders and clips are silver-tone metal.

Wear them with a dress shirt, a tie and your suit pants or dress pants. Our photos show them with a white shirt and a tie.
