Your first purchase of each garment type is backed by our Fit Guarantee. If you require alterations, we'll cover the cost up to the below limits to have a local tailor make adjustments. We highly recommend using a local dry cleaner who offers alterations as opposed to a dedicated "tailor". The quality of work is typically identical while the cost is 2-3x less - helping to keep you within the covered limits.

Complete the Alterations Credit Request form within 30 days of order receipt to be eligible for credit. Choose cash back or store credit (up to double the amount of cash back). You must submit an itemized receipt.
Covered Alterations Limits
Any alterations directly related to fit are covered. If you are quoted more than these limits, please contact our customer support team before proceeding. Hemming pants left unfinished by choice is not covered.
If approved, you may choose cash back or double the approved amount in store credit.

Our team will review all alteration credit requests within 72 hours. If approved, cash back will appear on your card statement in 5-10 days. Store credit will be issued immediately in the form of a gift card.
Can't be altered? Sartoro will remake it free.
In the event that local alterations are not possible, contact our customer support team. Your stylist will assess your garments, and if alterations are not a viable solution our tailors will remake the garment.
Please note - if you submitted self measurements, garments are only eligible for free remake due to manufacturing errors - unresolvable fit issues created by inaccurate measurements are not eligible.

Take at least three full length photos of yourself in the garments (top button of the suit jacket buttoned) along with any other photos highlighting the fit issues. Email them to team@sartoro.co with a detailed description of what isn't right.
Step 2: Recommendations Provided
Our team will review your case. If local alterations are feasible to solve the issue, we will recommend that route. If a remake is required, we will approve that approach pending remake criteria and may ask further questions.
Step 3: Ship Your Unused Garments
If approved, you will receive instructions on how to send back the unused garments. Garments must be in new condition when received to be eligible for free remakes.
Step 1: Discuss With A Local Tailor
If a local tailor can make the alterations within or close to the alteration credit limits, that is the recommended solution. Garments that can be altered to resolve issues are not eligible for remake.
Step 2: Contact Customer Support
If alterations are not possible, contact customer support and a stylist will review your case. Please send photos of you in the garment highlighting the issue/s. Do not remove the tags.
Step 3: Ship Your Unused Garments
If approved, you will receive instructions on where to ship the unused garments. Garments must be in new condition when received to be eligible for free remakes.
What To Expect Next?
Our team will review and respond to all remake requests within 48 hours. If approved, instructions for next steps will be provided. Remakes will arrive within 3 weeks. If the garment is needed for an upcoming event, please let us know right away and we'll do our best to accommodate.

We want new customers to feel at ease shopping Sartoro for the first time - so even though our garments are custom made to fit one person (you), we offer returns on your first purchase of each garment type (ex. suits). If you don't want to get alterations done or a remake made, you can return the unused garment for a full refund. View the full policy.
Please note the returns are only offered on your first Sartoro garment purchase. For subsequent orders, if you're not sure about the fabric or color, we recommend ordering fabric samples first.
