Your first purchase of each garment type is backed by our Fit Guarantee. If you require alterations, we'll cover the cost up to the below limits to have a local tailor make adjustments. If you're quoted more than the below limits, contact our customer support team and we may recommend an alternative approach.

Step 1: Have The Alterations Made

You can have any local tailor make alterations. Ensure the quote is below the limits provided below, and that the tailor will be able to achieve your desired outcome. Be sure to get an itemized receipt.

Step 2: Complete The Alterations Form

Complete the Alterations Credit Request form within 30 days of order receipt to be eligible for credit. Choose cash back or double the amount in store credit. Forms received more than 30 days after delivery date will not be reimbursed.

You can have any local tailor make your alterations. Ensure the quote is below the limits provided below, and that the tailor will be able to achieve your desired outcome. Be sure to request an itemized receipt.

Step 2: Complete The Alterations Form

Complete the Alterations Credit Request form within 50 days of order date to be eligible for credit. Choose cash back or store credit (up to double the amount of cash back).

Covered Alterations Limits

Any alterations directly related to fit are covered. If you are quoted more than these limits, please contact our customer support team before proceeding. Hemming pants left unfinished by choice is not covered.


If approved, you may choose cash back or double the approved amount in store credit.

What To Expect Next?

Our team will review all alteration credit requests within 72 hours. If approved, cash back will be appear on your card statement in 5-10 days. Store credit will be issued immediately in the form of a gift card.

Can't be altered? Sartoro will remake it free.

In the event that local alterations are not possible, contact our customer support team. Your stylist will assess your garments, and if alterations are not a viable solution our tailors will remake the garment.


Please note - if you submitted self measurements, garments are only eligible for free remake due to manufacturing errors - unresolvable fit issues created by inaccurate measurements are not eligible.

Our team will review your case. If local alterations are feasible to solve the issue, we will recommend that route. If a remake is required, we will approve that approach pending remake criteria and may ask further questions.

Step 3: Ship Your Unused Garments 

If approved, you will receive instructions on how to send back the unused garments. Garments must be in new condition when received to be eligible for free remakes.

If a local tailor can make the alterations within or close to the alteration credit limits, that is the recommended solution. Garments that can be altered to resolve issues are not eligible for remake.

Step 2: Contact Customer Support

If alterations are not possible, contact customer support and a stylist will review your case. Please send photos of you in the garment highlighting the issue/s. Do not remove the tags.

Step 3: Ship Your Unused Garments 

If approved, you will receive instructions on where to ship the unused garments. Garments must be in new condition when received to be eligible for free remakes.

What To Expect Next?

Our team will review and respond to all remake requests within 48 hours. If approved, instructions for next steps will be provided. Remakes will arrive within 3 weeks. If the garment is needed for an upcoming event, please let us know right away and we'll do our best to accommodate.
