This Policy describes how we handle order / garment alterations, remakes & returns when you make a purchase of a Sartoro garment from the Site.

SARTORO LLC (“Sartoro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) has brought the full made-to-measure process online for a premium, convenient experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with Sartoro products due to issues such as fit, quality, or fabric, please contact us at team@sartoro.co within 10 days of delivery. We will evaluate each case individually and work with you to resolve it. See “Return Policies for Partner Products Sold on Our Website” below for non-Sartoro items (such as shoes) sold through our site.
ALTERATIONS
While we strive for a perfect fit, minor alterations may occasionally be required. Every Sartoro purchase is backed by our Fit Promise, which includes an alteration credit allowance per garment type (jacket, vest, pants, shirt, coat). Alteration credits are valid for 30 days from receipt and apply only to the purchased garment. They do not cover services such as pressing, dry cleaning, or finishing unhemmed pants. Credits are issued for the first garment of each type you order. Future orders are only eligible if manufacturing errors occur or if you update your Fit Profile with the prior alteration details.
ALTERATION CREDIT AMOUNTS
You may choose one of two reimbursement options:
1. Cash back to your original payment method, up to the limit listed for your garment.
2. Store credit for up to double the cash-back amount.
Below are the maximum reimbursable amounts for each garment type:
• Suit (2-Piece): $65 cash back or $130 store credit
• Suit (3-Piece): $80 cash back or $160 store credit
• Jackets / Blazers: $40 cash back or $80 store credit
• Vests: $25 cash back or $50 store credit
• Pants: $25 cash back or $50 store credit
• Shirts: $20 cash back or $40 store credit
• Coats: $50 cash back or $100 store credit
Alteration credits for free products (orders placed without monetary payment) are limited to store credit up to the corresponding cash-back limit. Necessary remakes for free products are offered at 75% off the normal retail price.
To receive your alteration credit, complete the Alteration Reimbursement Request Form on our website. Include your order number, the garment altered, a description of the work performed, and an itemized receipt. Sartoro reimburses only when a full itemized receipt listing each alteration and cost is provided. If you submit a non-itemized receipt, your eligibility is at Sartoro's final discretion and if determined eligible, you will be eligible only for store credit equal to the cash-back limit.
REMAKES
If alterations cannot resolve a fit issue, Sartoro will remake the garment free of charge if: the issue is not caused by incorrect measurements provided by you (using our Digital Tailor ensures compliance), local alterations cannot resolve the problem, clear photos of the issue are provided, and the request is submitted within 30 days of receiving your order. Our team makes the final determination for all remakes.
Garments will be made within a 0.5-inch tolerance of the intended fit based on your provided body measurements. Sartoro will verify tolerance limits using submitted photos and garment measurements. All remake requests must include required photos within 14 days of Sartoro’s request; failure to provide them may void eligibility. We may decline remake or alteration coverage if fit issues are caused by inaccurate self-measurements, non-disclosure of body type (for example, female body type orders without prior notice), or failure to respond to requests for clarification within seven days of outreach.
RETURNS
Each Sartoro garment is custom-made to your measurements and design preferences. Because every item is uniquely yours, returns are limited to your first Sartoro garment order and apply only to the first set of garments received. Subsequent garments or repeat orders are not eligible for return.
If multiple garments are ordered in your first order, Sartoro will ship one garment type first for fit confirmation. Once confirmed, remaining garments are produced and are not eligible for return. If you require all garments at once, none are returnable.
Contact team@sartoro.co within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to pursue a return instead of alterations or a remake. Issues reported after 14 days are ineligible. Once a claim is opened, you must respond within 30 days or the case will close. If you select an alteration or remake, the garment becomes ineligible for return.
Returns are accepted only for unused, unworn garments with tags attached and in original packaging. Damaged, altered, or improperly cared-for garments (including those machine-washed against care instructions) are not eligible. Sartoro may approve or deny any return at its discretion.
Approved returns are refunded in full, excluding shipping or extra customization fees (for example, monograms or rush delivery). Items must be shipped back within 30 days of receiving the return label for a full refund; returns received after 31–60 days are eligible for store credit only. After 60 days, returns are no longer accepted.
RETURN EXCLUSIONS
- Custom lining orders
- Fabric sample books
- Non-standard custom requests not available on the online suit designer
- Wedding party or group discount orders
- Orders missing required fit photos or measurements
- First-order exchanges for different fabrics
- International orders outside the United States
- Orders for women or female body types (covered by Fit Promise but not returnable)
- Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
FOR ISSUES UNRESOLVABLE THROUGH LOCAL ALTERATIONS
Sartoro will remake garments at our expense when the garment was not made to provided measurements within tolerance limits, the garment was customized incorrectly, or manufacturing or shipping defects were reported within 15 days of delivery. Issues reported after 15 days are not covered. Sartoro is not responsible for accidental damage after normal use.
RETURN POLICIES FOR PARTNER PRODUCTS SOLD ON OUR WEBSITE
Sartoro occasionally sells partner products, such as footwear, made by other brands. Product listings identify partner items. Sartoro assists in managing returns for these products, but each partner brand’s own policies apply. Refer to the product page or the partner brand’s website for details.
